Thomas: Okay, here’s Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. He was the captain in ‘86. And as everybody knows we were this close to winning. (He picks the next card) Ahhh, wrong one. It’s Franz Beckenbauer. ‘74, that one went better than the one in ‘86. Maybe the green brought good luck that year.
Bastian: Ah, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge again!
Thomas: Now you only have to remember where he was.
Bastian: There he is! The first set. Rummenigge always brings me luck! So, next one…
Thomas: Scholli! Oh, but that was in 2000.
Bastian: Copa Mundial. Had to be mentioned.

Bastian (pointing to the left side of the picture): And here is the tackle that will happen soon. He’ll probably be lying on the ground just a second later.
(He picks the next card) Ah, Kalle Riedle.
Thomas: Okay, so I’ll finishe the Kaiser. (He picks his first card) Felix Magath. Green.
Bastian: Suits him.
Thomas: Referring to Wolfsburg clearly. (He picks the next card) Ah, and Mehmet Scholl. A present for Basti.
Bastian: Thank you. And he should be…
Thomas: Ah, don’t be too sure! (Bastian picks the correct card)
Bastian: Ah, he at least has the right shirt number in the national team.
Thomas: What, seven? Do you have the seven?
Bastian: Mhm, Felix Magath…. (he turns over a card) ah, Kalle Riedle.
(Laughing ensues)
Bastian: Wait, I’ll get him now! (he turns over the next card) Oh no, Felix! How could I be so dumb?
Thomas: Now, I’m holding the cards… here’s the Kaiser. And here’s the Kaiser again. World Cup ‘74. These are mine. And this should be Felix Magath. I got him with my vast intelligence.
Bastian: Ah, and now? (Thomas picks a card.) Yes!
Thomas: Ah, it’s Klinsi! So where’s the othe one? Here or there?
Bastian: Don’t know.
Thomas: He should be here because otherwise they would be right next to each other. (He picks the one farther away from the other card.) Ahhh :(.
Bastian: Yeeeees! Yeeees! (…) Please turn the cards over.
(Thomas turns over the cards and starts shuffling them around. There’s laughter behind the camera.)
Bastian: Oh noooooo.
Thomas: Here you go! (Bastian picks his first card) Klinsi. And… ?
Bastian: This sucks. (He picks the wrong one) Okay, wait. (He starts shuffling the cards, too. Thomas picks a card.)
Thomas: Kalle. And if I’m correct, then the other Kalle should be here. (He turns the next card, it’s Klinsmann. )
Both of them: Ahhhhh!
Bastian: Wrong again!
Thomas: Yeah, okay. You’re the winner.
Bastian: Yeah, right? I’d say I deserve that. (He shakes Thomas’ hand) Thomas, you lost.
Thomas: But wait, what do we have here? World Cup ‘94. I like this jersey the best. With the Germany colors mixed in. Not bad. (Really, Thomas? This one?)
Bastian: Mhm. But the one from ‘86 looks the most like the current one. Right?
